At present, most countries are now taking illegal drugs. Because of drugs, some kill people or any kind of illegal act that is cause by drugs. If you are taking drugs regularly you are abusing your body. Drug abuse can lead to drug dependence or addiction. People who use drugs for pain relief may become dependent, although this is rare in those who do not have a history of addiction. Some symptoms and behaviors of drug dependence includes confusion, episodes of violence and neglecting to eat. Because of the fast number of people who are addicted to drugs, they are brought to drug rehab treatment centers. In rehab centers, the components of their integrated approach to alcohol and drug rehab includes: detox, individual therapy, and group therapy. In an article I read, there are types of treatment: residential treatment (in-patient), out-patient, local support groups, extended care centers, recovery or sober houses, addiction counselling, mental health, orthomolecular medicine and medical care. Traditional addiction treatment is based primarily on counseling. However, recent discoveries have shown those suffering from addiction often have chemical imbalances that make the recovery process more difficult.
