Holter

In medicine, a holter monitor is a portable device for continuously monitoring various electrical activity of the central nervous system for at least 24 hours. It is commonly use in monitoring heart activity or ECG and it can also be use to monitor brain activity or EEG. The holter monitor is named for physicist Norman J. Holter who invented telemetric cardiac monitoring in 1949. I remembered when my mother-in-law was bedridden, we knew that she had a heart problem because the hospital monitored her using the holter monitor to monitor her heart. It is really hard for our family if there is a member that is sick especially when that disease is complicated, it is really sad and is financially drained.
