After our wedding, we live at my parents house.  Me and my husband's dream is to have our own house.  I love a house that is nice and clean, simple and neat, not too big and not too small.  I love to put a veranda for us to chill-out or talk with friends and family.  A playground and swimming pool also are nice ideas for the kids to enjoy during weekends and holidays.  It is also nice to have basement in case of emergency.  I want our master bedroom to have our own bathroom inside with bath tub and jacuzzi, then with a big sliding door for us too see the view of the garden that have lots of plants and fountains.  To have a nice look of the house, we must have beautiful design of curtains or drapes. You can canvass online for drapes but many said that burlap drapes are pretty nice. As you know, curtains come in a variety of shapes, materials, sizes, colors and patterns, and they often have their own sections within department stores, while some shops are completely dedicated to selling curtains. Curtains vary according to cleanability, ultraviolet light deterioration, oil and dust retention, noise absorption, fire resistance, and life span. Curtains may be moved by hand, with cords, by press-button pads or remote-controlled computers. Measuring the curtain size needed for each window varies greatly according to the type of curtain needed, window size, and type and weight of curtain.  Cannot wait to tell my husband about getting our dream house, I am so excited.  Very much excited!

father's condition

My dad was confined at the hospital last December 6.  At first, it only started with a dizziness.  Then my mom said let's go to the hospital for check-up.  When they arrived at the hospital, my dad had high blood pressure.  The blood pressure did not go down so he was confined so that there will be series of tests.  The next day, my mom called and said that he had mild stroke and he has problem swallowing.  He had also pneumonia, so he needs to be transferred at the ICU.  He was restrained because he wants to go down and go home, he also wants to pull the tubes that are attached to him like the NGT, dextrose and catheter.  We stayed at the ICU for 2 weeks, then when the doctor said we can go home and continue treating him and feed him using the NGT.  But my dad is hard-headed, he won't listen to us.  He removed the NGT tube twice and we were giving him food through spoon-feed slowly because he might choke.  But he was sick more, that's why he went back to the ICU because he already lacked oxygen.  As of today, my mom said that his lungs are congested.  Please help me pray that he will be good and well.

Before, I want to learn how to play the guitar. What I did was find a songbook and follow the pattern keys. At first, it was easy but the following keys are kinda hard. The ending, I stopped playing guitar and play the piano/keyboard. When I met my husband, I knew that he loves playing guitar. He did not study or trained, he studied the keys by himself. I bought him a simple guitar, not the electric guitar because it was kinda expensive. To save money, I will buy him a used les paul guitar at musicians friend. No matter where you are in the world, they will help you find musical instruments that fit you, your music and your style. The les paul guitar is one of the four vintage electric guitars used by professional musicians like Paul McCartney, Slash, Eric Clapton and many more. Because of the great popularity of these models, musicians are listed only if their use of these instruments was especially significant. 

Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas to all!  Well, our celebration had sad times and good times.  Sad times because my dad was sick and needed to be admitted again at the hospital (ICU).  Good because it was my daughter's birthday, December 25.  We had potluck lunch at my cousins place and my daughter blew the candle of her birthday cake.  My mother did not come to the party so that she can take care of my dad.  After the potluck party we went to my in-law's place for sleepover.

Mika's Christmas Party

Just this December 21, it was my daughter's Christmas party at their school.  They started at 9am and finished pass 11pm.  They had a great time especially with their classmates and very excited to receive their gifts from the manito/manita.  For their food, they have a packed snacks (Chicken & Pizza) with C2 Ice Tea.  They had games and many more.  After the kids party, we went to the mall to have lunch at BonChon.
