McDonald's drops Heinz Ketchup

I really love eating at McDonald's and I always order my favorite, Cheeseburger Meal with large fries and regular coke.

McDonalds said it was dropping ketchup king Heinz as a supplier, citing management changes at Heinz that put the company closer to rival Burger King. 

McDonald’s said it was ending a relationship of over 40 years as it axed Heinz from its supplier list. 

"As a result of recent management changes at Heinz, we have decided to transition our business to other suppliers over time," it said. 

In February US investment star Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway together with Brazil's 3G Capital took over Heinz in a $28 billion deal. 

That move brought Heinz closer to Burger King, which is controlled by 3G. 

The change would not be a large blow to Heinz. McDonald’s said it only used Heinz ketchup in two US markets, Minneapolis and Pittsburgh, as well as some foreign markets. 

McDonald’s said in a statement that it would work with Heinz "to ensure a smooth and orderly transition of the McDonald’s restaurant business." 

The company said they "are confident that there will be no impact to our business, our customers and our great tasting food at McDonald's."

been very busy

It has been more that 2 months since my last blog.  Since my husband arrived from work months ago, I was very busy with my life.  There are very special occasions that was celebrated and for me it was very memorable.  I was having also problems with my laptop because it was needed to be reformated, I think it was a virus.  

When my husband arrived, we celebrated his birthday together with relatives.  We had grilled fish, pork and fresh green salads.  

 

A week after hubby's celebration, it was my daughter's opening in her school.  Then the following week was Father's Day.

 

Then comes my nephew's 3rd birthday, Leedon Vincent.  After that it was Mika's classmate's birthday, Lovy Chin.  Next, att Mika's school they celebrated Nutrition Month.

  

That month end, a pretty baby girl was added to our family baby Savannah.  Then my brother arrived for his vacation. 

 

My cousin-inlaw arrived from the States because her mom died, there got the chance to bond with the family.

 

My hubby's grandmother and his uncle from Australia arrived, in time for baby Savanna's dedication.  Another bonding moments with my inlaws.

  

Then it was Mika's Speechfest at school.

  

Then celebrated my mother's birthday together with the siblings and their family.

  

Then it was me from my hubby to go back to work, will not see  him for 8 months.  Sad to say that he's not here to celebrate Christmas, New Year, our anniversary, the kids and my birthday.  But it's okay because I know that God is with him to protect and give him more strength to carry all the work that he will encounter.  Good thing we can talk though  internet, thanks to the technology now.
