GGGRRR!!! I need a new laptop because the one that I am using is making me crazy....My hubby bought this HP +Laptop in the US and it is only been I guess almost 2 years. It already undergone 2 or 3 reformats and now it is kinda slowing down and sometimes it pauses for a few seconds, I do not know what to do. I told hubby to get me a new one before my old laptop totally shuts down.
A friend of mine told me to get an Asus laptop. How about you, what do you think is a great brand (not Sony & Apple, because it is expensive)???

cough & colds
Hubby left this morning for Manila to renew his passport, visa and do medical check-up. He also will take trainings their too. Hubby is sick for almost 2 weeks, I think. He have cough and colds. That is why my youngest daughter got cough and colds too, poor baby (2 years old). I just gave her Disudrin for her colds and Ambroxol for her cough. Praying that she will be okay so that she can play already. My heart aches when I see her cough from time to time. I just declare Healing will be upon her, in Jesus name! Amen and Amen.

Forever21
Hello fellow bubblews pips, how are you all doing? Well, for me is a long day. When I send my daughter to school this afternoon, my friend and I went to Forever21 in SM Lanang because it was the last day on their buy 1 take 1 free on some items. I was so happy that I was able to buy 1 blouse (P469) and get 1 free leggings, then bought 2 spaghetti tops (P105 each) too. All in all, I only paid P679 for those items. I am very very very happy!!! Then after there we went to McDonald's Damosa for drive-thru and went to my friend's house and eat. After that we went back to school to fetch our kids.

Fishballs
Every afternoon after I send my daughter to school, the mommies sometimes stay or went to a mall to stroll and eat snacks. If ever we stay in school, we buy fishball. I always buy small cup that have 21 pieces (P15) and big cup that have 28 pieces (P20).
Fish balls are a common food in southern China and overseas Chinese communities made from "fish paste".
The most common type of Filipino fish balls are known as bola-bola. It is somewhat flat in shape and most often made from cuttlefish or pollock and served with a sweet and spicy sauce or with a thick, black, sweet and sour sauce.
Fish balls in the Philippines are sold by street vendors pushing wooden deep-frying carts. The balls are served skewered, offered with three kinds of dipping sauces: spicy (white/orange coloured) – vinegar, water, diced onions and garlic; sweet (brown gravy coloured) – corn starch, banana ketchup, sugar and salt; and sweet/sour (amber or deeper orange coloured) – the sweet variety with lots of small hot chilis added. Dark sauces are rare, as these are soy sauce-based and soy sauce is expensive for street food.
It's A Beautiful Day
Good evening to all! How was you day? What did you eat for breakfast this morning? Our breakfast is fish and egg.
It is a great day today! As the chorus in a song in my daughter's school says "It's a beautiful day and the sun is up, it's a beautiful day you gotta believe it today, we can work and play it's a wonderful day...It's a beautiful day!"
Had a great sleep with my kids last night. Taught them how to pray before they go to sleep. One of the prayers I thought them says: "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to keep...Amen"
Well, good night and God bless!

The Expendables 3
I thank God for this third part of the movie The Expendables. They are so COOL!!!
Barney, Christmas and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks, who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables' most personal battle yet.

Ice Cold Resort
Before the summer started, we had a church-summer fun to swim in a resort to relax. More fun in LIFE filled with great way to experience summer in this cold spring water. This resort is best known for their cold water pool that is fed by the cold natural spring water. You can hear the spring rushing down the mountainside as you deep yourself unto the pool, perfect for the summer. Literally the water is fresh, clear, and exhilarating cold. The lawn is good for picnics. There are several shades structures that will keep you warm and dry.

butterfly tent
My husband arrives last May 2 and the kids are very excited to see him. One day when we went to buy groceries, we saw some designed tents for kids to play. The designs were cute, they have ladybug, classroom, elephant at butterfly tent. As usual, I let them choose what design they would like to get and they chose the butterfly tent.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
During my childhood, I watched lots of cartoons. There's Tom & Jerry, Dennis the Menice, and many more. But what I remembered most was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I'm so glad that they are back on screen!!! Cannot wait to watch them. The Ninja Turtles are back in this live-action adventure film featuring the popular sewer-dwelling, reptile ninjas Leonardo (voiced by Johnny Knoxville), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), Donatello (Jeremy Howard), Raphael (Alan Ritchson) and their pal, roving reporter April (Megan Fox).
still no internet connection
Still, we do not have internet connection. Hoping the new broadband will arrive tomorrow so that I can continue with my important transactions and talk to my hubby who's working abroad. As what I have heard and read lately, broken sea cables cause web speed woes in our country. Philippine telco company PLDT, which is the country’s largest broadband ISP, is currently hit by a slow-down that’s affecting many of its subscribers nationwide. This is following the reported breaks in two internet fiber lines in the Asia Pacific Cable Network (APCN). The fiber breaks are at the bottom of the seas in areas between Taiwan and Japan, and China and Korea. It’s expected to disrupt internet connections and speeds in other countries on that fiber line as well.

HELLO KITTY CHINA AIRLINES
I really love Hello Kitty! I adore them! I am addicted to them! When my friend posted a status on facebook and tagged me, it's about Hello Kitty! I said, OMG!!!! They are super cuties to the max! HELLO KITTY CHINA AIRLINES! How I wish I can go to China and ride in that plane, but I think I need to save a lot of money because it's kinda expensive.

no internet connection
I am not comfortable if we do not have internet connection, I cannot talk to my love ones and I cannot make my important things online. It's been 5 days since no internet. My mom's calling the dsl provider but still no internet connection. That's why, yesterday we went to a different dsl provider to ask about their services. They said it will take 2-3 days before someone comes to survey our area location and install it. Once the old service provider will not be okay, we will push through with the new one and disconnect the old one.

baby is sick
It's been a while since my last entry after my father died. Thanks to all who condoled thru Facebook.
Just this February 25 around 4pm, we arrived home from the hospital. My daughter Raine was admitted last February 19. She vomited twice then had pneumonia and thank God that she does not have Dengue. Praying that she will recover fast here at home. According to her Medical Certificate, the diagnosis was Pediatric Community Acquired Pneumonia III, Electrolyte Imbalance (Hyponatremia) and Secondary to Moderate-Severe Dehydration.

2014 DCHS Grand Alumni Homecoming
Last February 8, 2014 I attended our Grand Alumni Homecoming in our alma mater school hosted by DCHS Batch 1989. One of the hosts was GMA's local news anchor & also from the said batch Tek Ocampo. Sad to say that only 3 of us attended our batch. I really love theme because it was a Christian High School Musical, an alumni inter-batch song & dance competition. There were also raffle prizes. Minor prizes were Axis Watches, Gift Checks & TVOLUTION from PLDT, IPod Suffle and the Major prizes were IPad Mini & IPad Air. I was waiting and claiming that I will get the IPad Mini or IPad Air, but I guess it was not my time. It was nice to see familiar faces and former teachers, it was worth it! See you all again next year and hoping that many of our batch will join.
The ticket with free dinner buffet and drinks.
With former teachers.
Only us 3 came from our batch.

Goodbye, Father
Sad to say but that is life. My father died last January 22, 2014. We really thought his sickness was okay and thought that he could be discharge from the hospital but it made him worst. Aspiration Pneumonia was the main problem. It only started with dizziness then high blood pressure and mild stroke. The wake lasted only for 3 days, the burial was last January 25, 2014 at 9am. Thank you to friends and relatives who condole with us and God bless.

With my mom and brother. Our youngest sibling was working abroad and cannot come due to lack of airfare.

Christmas 2013 & New Year 2014
Happy New Year To All! Before I get to the happy story, will tell you the kinda sad party story. To those who did not know, my dad was confined at the hospital last December 6. At first, it only started with a dizziness. Then my mom said let's go to the hospital for check-up. When they arrived at the hospital, my dad had high blood pressure. The blood pressure did not go down so he was confined so that there will be series of tests. The next day, my mom called and said that he had mild stroke and he has problem swallowing. He had also pneumonia, so he needs to be transferred at the ICU. He was restrained because he wants to go down and go home, he also wants to pull the tubes that are attached to him like the NGT, dextrose and catheter. We stayed at the ICU for 2 weeks, then when the doctor said we can go home and continue treating him and feed him using the NGT. But my dad is hard-headed, he won't listen to us. He removed the NGT tube twice and we were giving him food through spoon-feed slowly because he might choke. But he was sick more, that's why he went back to the ICU December 26 because he already lacked oxygen. As of today, his lungs are congested and the phlegm have bacteria.
Well, that's life. But for me, the Christmas and New Year celebration will not stop especially for the kids. Before Christmas Eve, my brother, sister-in-law and their daughter celebrated with us after dinner. They brought mango charlotte cake, chicken teryaki and sparkling wine. December 25 was my daughter's birthday, RAINE. Every Christmas day, we celebrate at my cousin's place. All of us bring food (potluck lunch) and I brought birthday cake so that she can blow. My mother didn't come with us because she took care of my dad. After the potluck party we went to my in-law's place for sleepover.
For new year, I baked Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. It was my 1st attempt, for me it was kinda sweet but they said it was okay. Well, we all know that fireworks are banned in Davao. So, we only blew our torotots to welcome the year 2014. January 1 was the birthday of my nephew, we celebrated it at my aunt's place. As usual, it was a potluck dinner with relatives.
Lastly, just this Saturday we also had a post-Christmas Party with my mommy friends at school where our kids are classmates. Our friendship started last year when Mika started school. We had food, drinks, exchange gifts, videoke and games. Here's a game we played and it was really funny!

Christmas 2013
Merry Christmas to all! Well, our celebration had sad times and good times. Sad times because my dad was sick and needed to be admitted again at the hospital (ICU). Good because it was my daughter's birthday, December 25. We had potluck lunch at my cousins place and my daughter blew the candle of her birthday cake. My mother did not come to the party so that she can take care of my dad. After the potluck party we went to my in-law's place for sleepover.

been very busy
It has been more that 2 months since my last blog. Since my husband arrived from work months ago, I was very busy with my life. There are very special occasions that was celebrated and for me it was very memorable. I was having also problems with my laptop because it was needed to be reformated, I think it was a virus.
When my husband arrived, we celebrated his birthday together with relatives. We had grilled fish, pork and fresh green salads.

A week after hubby's celebration, it was my daughter's opening in her school. Then the following week was Father's Day.

Then comes my nephew's 3rd birthday, Leedon Vincent. After that it was Mika's classmate's birthday, Lovy Chin. Next, att Mika's school they celebrated Nutrition Month.

That month end, a pretty baby girl was added to our family baby Savannah. Then my brother arrived for his vacation.

My cousin-inlaw arrived from the States because her mom died, there got the chance to bond with the family.

My hubby's grandmother and his uncle from Australia arrived, in time for baby Savanna's dedication. Another bonding moments with my inlaws.

Then it was Mika's Speechfest at school.

Then celebrated my mother's birthday together with the siblings and their family.

Then it was me from my hubby to go back to work, will not see him for 8 months. Sad to say that he's not here to celebrate Christmas, New Year, our anniversary, the kids and my birthday. But it's okay because I know that God is with him to protect and give him more strength to carry all the work that he will encounter. Good thing we can talk though internet, thanks to the technology now.

phone cases
It is really my dream to have a new cellphone. My last mobile phone that I have is MyPhone (dual sim) but it was broken. Good thing I have a free unit from my postpaid plan, the Nokia Asha 306 but still I need one for my other network sim. Actually, I have 2 sims. My hubby promised me an android phone last year, the Samsung Galaxy S3 but still nothing. What I did was convinced him that I really need it, ASAP. Good thing that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is on sale and hubby told me to buy it immediately. So like, I was very happy with my new phone. I also bought some back case for it, see photos below:
Hot Pink hard case for my Nokia Asha 306
Hello Kitty hard case and I Glow case for my Samsung Galaxy S3
